Inspired by both the fine details and general abstractness of nature, I aim to express the dynamic emotion arising from the interaction of people and the environment.
I studied art and geology at Wittenberg University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in 1995. After relocating to the mountains of North Carolina in 1996, I worked as an illustrator for a stain glass company and designer for a textile company while continuing to develop my art. I received a Masters of Landscape Architecture from North Carolina University in 2001 and obtained my landscape architecture license in 2008.
I am currently working as a landscape architect while continuing to pursue studio practice full time. Approaching all projects with professionalism and creativity, I am accepting work as a designer, illustrator, muralist as well as other commissioned work.
